Students of International Summer School “Agroleto in the Black Earth region of Russia” visited biogas plant Luchki on August 4. The school based on Belgorod Agrarian University named after. V.Ya. Gorin. 16 students from Germany, China, the Netherlands, Azerbaijan and Russia were introduced to the agro-industrial complex of Belgorod region, biotechnology and development of electricity production from biogas.
Biogas plant senior operator Alexei Kievsky told future farmers about the features of selecting raw materials for the plant, demonstrated automatic control of bacteria feeding process and CHP operation.
The students of International school thanked for the biogas plant tour, noted that this is a promising direction in agriculture, as it is aimed to solve the problem of processing agricultural wastes into effective biofertilizers.
