On the 2nd of April, in international Exhibition Center Berlin (Germany), during international congress “Biogas goes East”, general manager OOO “AltEnergo” Victor Filatov has delivered the report on “Economics of biogas processes in Russia”. He told about biogas plants pilot projects implementation in russian energetics, analysing indexes during operation period of biogas plants.

International congress “Biogas goes East” took place on 1-2 of April, and was organised as part of the exhibition “BiogasWorld-2014” by German Centre of Biomasstudy (Deutsche Biomassforschungszentrum -DBFZ).The congress is the event, dedicated to technologies and opinions exchange among industry-specific scientific centres, organisations and companies from Germany, USA, China, Russia, Poland, Ukraine, and among other range of east-european biogas market countries. Among speakers of the event were embassy representatives of some participant countries, representatives of Food and Agriculture Ministry of Germany, secretary general of Agriculture Ministry Republic of Korea, guidance of research-scientific centres and companies, dealing with biogas plant installation, and equipment suppliers and others.
Technical questions of biogas production and econimic models of such project were also in the highlight of the congress.Particularly, report of Victor Filatov shows, that installation of biogas plants in Germany is much cheaper than in Russia, where the payment of equipment import , customs clearance, payment for installation and supervision and stuff training are to be paid. At the same time, the price for feedstock and operational costs are much lower in Russia. Nevertheless, some russian companies have to refuse from projects installation due to high installation expences. According to Victor Filatov’s opinion, a way out of this situation is the development of service companies network, logictics companies and companies dealing with EPC-contract system on the territory of the Russian Federation.Besides the congress, BiogasWorld 2014, includes exhibition, which focuses on wide range of biogas technologies : installation and design of biogas plants, different types of equipment for biogas plants, “feeding”, pumpimg clearance and biogas storage technologies, newest scientific research results. The leader among exhibitor countries is Germany, where over 8000 biogas plants are built for today. Among exhibitors there were also partners of OOO “AltEnergo”
